Dryer

The BROCK® Commercial Tower Grain Dryer from Brock offers drying capacities ranging from 2,500 to 10,000 bushels (63.5 to 250 metric tons) per hour. This Brock grain dryer incorporates some of the best features of Brock's proven MEYER ENERGY MISER™ Tower Grain Dryers while introducing several new enhancements.

The Brock Commercial Dryer is designed with a focus on high-quality grain conditioning and energy efficiency, while also providing greater convenience and ease of operation.

Features include:

  • Narrower Upper Columns. A narrower column width is used at the top of the dryer to help increase airflow through wetter grain, allowing the drying process to begin sooner.
  • Stainless Steel Screens. Stainless steel mesh perforations are available in two sizes (.078 and .062) to help contain grain particles and promote cleaner dryer operation.
  • Commercial Burner. A high-capacity, low-emission Maxon® burner comes standard on BROCK Commercial Tower Dryers. The commercial-grade burner features a cast aluminum distributor designed to help reduce corrosion and maintenance around the burner ports. Brock's exclusive use of centrifugal fans allows the square burner to be mounted within a square duct, providing uniform airflow across the entire burner surface for efficient combustion and even heat distribution. The generous duct length above the burner further improves temperature balance from the top to the bottom of the heat chamber.
  • DWDI Centrifugal Fans. Double-Width, Double-Inlet (DWDI) centrifugal fans were selected for BROCK Commercial Tower Dryers because they deliver greater airflow while requiring less horsepower. This airflow delivery method promotes uniform and efficient movement of heated air. The dual-fan configuration also provides easy access to the motors for service and maintenance as needed.
  • Self-Cleaning Plenum Floor. Brock's exclusive self-cleaning heat chamber floor minimizes particle buildup by recirculating particles back into the grain, helping provide safer operation while reducing cleaning and maintenance requirements.
  • Unobstructed Grain Columns. Fresh air, electrical conduits, and gas piping enter through the bottom of the dryer rather than passing through the grain columns. This design promotes uniform grain flow and efficient drying. Air inlet louvers are adjustable to control the volume of cool air entering the dryer.
  • Gentle Grain Discharge System. Brock's advanced patented Circular Drag Grain Unloading System evenly meters grain from the grain columns and gently conveys it to the discharge point located around the perimeter of the dryer.
  • Easy Access and Service. Generous clearance beneath the dryer provides convenient walk-in access and ample space for auxiliary equipment.
  • Commercial-Grade Gas Plumbing. A commercial block-and-bleed gas train comes standard, along with high- and low-gas-pressure safety switches.
  • QUANTUM® Controller. Brock's advanced QUANTUM® Dryer Controller comes standard and automatically regulates the drying process.
